So I have the chance, for similar prices, to get either a Washburn T25 new or a Dearmond pilot 6 second hand.

Obviously one is a 5 string and the other a 6 string, the 6 string being slightly more daunting but most likely better value than the washburn.

Oh wise basschatters, what to get?

I like the tone of Guild Pilot basses, they're amazing value second hand. I can't comment on the quality of the Dearmond basses though. All the Washburn T basses I've heard sound a bit boxy to me.

Edit: Well thanks to sniping software I lost out on the Dearmond pfft, washburn it is.
