Best/Cheapest place to buy these kinda things for mounting pedals?

I've no idea what to actually call them! Pedal Mounting Kit? I really don't want to use velcro and the pedals aren't likely to be swapped in and out much. Maybe 6 or 7 pedals.

With some screws off eBay and a good length of chain, you'll have enough to last many lifetimes.

I did think they looked a lot like bicycle chain loops! ha!

Just use bike chain. Alternatively use painters tape (masking tape) on the bottom of a pedal then sticky velcro. That way the pedal paintwork doesn't get affected at all but still more than enough stick to attach a pedal to a board.

I've used the bike chain method, but did have to drill a few out for bigger screws, which was a bit fiddly. Coincidentally spotted the above tonight

As an aside, what is the dislike about Velcro?
Is it aesthetics? I've always found it amazingly sticky and tidy. With the added benefit of being able to rip a pedal out its position on the fly.

you wouldn't want to lose a cable somewhere in your pedal 'chain' (see what I did there?) halfway thru a gig.

How are you going to find the culprit? Unscrew all the pedals so you can see which connector went bad? good luck.

not practicle for the working musician, good for bedroom players only.

There is a reason why 99 billion flies eat sh!t......also for why most working musos use velcro.....

Bazztard has pretty much summed it up for me. Not being able to rejig things between songs would worry me.

I see. But I'd say it was easier to have a few longer patch cables so you can just bypass any problem pedal.

I used them to mount my Zoom B3 (and a Korg B3000X or whatever it was) into Stagg pedal cases.

But I'm sure I bought mine from a UK supplier and they weren't expensive. I'll try and remember to find out who it was.
