Dood Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 I've no idea what to actually call them! Pedal Mounting Kit? I really don't want to use velcro and the pedals aren't likely to be swapped in and out much. Maybe 6 or 7 pedals. Quote
EBS_freak Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 (edited) Psst... http://christopherho...in-link-method/
I did think they looked a lot like bicycle chain loops! ha! Dood Posted April 24, 2017 Author Posted April 24, 2017 Aside from the Bike chain method, are there any alternatives? Quote
T-Bay Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 They look like motorbike links to me, even if not they would be a very close match to your pic. Quote
cowello Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Just use bike chain. Alternatively use painters tape (masking tape) on the bottom of a pedal then sticky velcro. That way the pedal paintwork doesn't get affected at all but still more than enough stick to attach a pedal to a board. Quote

redbandit599 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 BTW I only ever needed two per pedal and it was very secure. Only drawback is that some of the screws in the pedals aren't quite long enough with the addition of the little plate/chain link Quote
Elfrasho Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 As an aside, what is the dislike about Velcro? Is it aesthetics? I've always found it amazingly sticky and tidy. With the added benefit of being able to rip a pedal out its position on the fly. Quote
bazzbass Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 you wouldn't want to lose a cable somewhere in your pedal 'chain' (see what I did there?) halfway thru a gig. How are you going to find the culprit? Unscrew all the pedals so you can see which connector went bad? good luck. not practicle for the working musician, good for bedroom players only. There is a reason why 99 billion flies eat sh!t......also for why most working musos use velcro..... Quote

tauzero Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 I used them to mount my Zoom B3 (and a Korg B3000X or whatever it was) into Stagg pedal cases. http://www.pedalboardsupplies.com/pedal-links-system.html But I'm sure I bought mine from a UK supplier and they weren't expensive. I'll try and remember to find out who it was. Quote
