I bought it second hand about 6 years ago from America and although Its in overall ok condition - a couple of dings and marks (the worst of which I'll try to show in the photos) mostly nothing that'd upset you or ruin the look of the bass.

However, here's the bad bit, at some point it looks like it was dropped as there are cracks around the jack socket and bottom edge of the bass which have been lacquered over (prior to me purchasing it) and cracks in the finish on the front and although its not going anywhere (I've had it years and nothings moved or flaked off) it doesn't look great as the cracks are still visible underneath the lacquer. I had the plan of stripping and refinishing but being realistic it's never gonna happen... I'm far too lazy.

I reckon the original control plate was replaced or has been cut down or something as this one seems a little small for the cavity.

soooo, factoring that into the price offers somewhere in the region of [s]£500[/s]. Now £400... there aren't too many around at the moment to gauge a price by.

Comes with a really nice Tobias gig bag (made by TKL) happy to ship for £20 (mainland UK only) I'm sure I have a box/packaging suitable for it somewhere...

Specifically interested in a trade for a Hofner Club Bass (or Epiphone Jack Cassady) cuz I've always wanted to try one but I guess I'm open to other offers... athough there's nothing else I really want right now... I like Peavey T40's and old Yamaha and Ibanez stuff

Here's some info about it that I didn't write (so you know this bits accurate)

The Renegade's beauty is in its simplicity. Featuring a solid alder body and maple bolt-on neck, it speaks with a powerful vintage voice. The sound is supplied by a humbucker and jazz bar pickup, both custom made by Bartolini. A toggle switch allows the humbucker to run in "series" or "parallel", offering a wide variety of tone. A pull on the tone control activates the contour circuit, which uses a trim pot to boost the Renegade's EQ curve. For a more "natural" sound, the tone contour circuit is by-passable.

Features:
Solid alder body
Three-piece, bolt-on maple neck
Heelless neck joint/dual truss rods
One Bartolini humbucker, one Jazz Bar humbucker
Active preamp with TC-7 pickup circuit, push-pull tone control
Tobias bridge
Black hardware
Maple fingerboard
24-fret, Double Octave range

Any questions, or requests for pics of anything specific, PM me and i'll get on it
