Slightly off topic but I can't help wondering why the 2x8 cab is sooooo expensive compared to the amp and the 1x10??!!

I too have wondered this and despaired as the 2x8 cab is the only thing I'd be interested in from the new range...
I may be talking out my arse here but is it that expensive compared to a Bareface cab, Cameron if you want a 2 x 8 Fender did a V2 light weight if you can find one second hand http://www.musiciansfriend.com/amplifiers-effects/fender-rumble-2x8-bass-speaker-cabinet, I've got one and I'm well happy with it.

I managed to get a second set of TE lightweight 8" PA speakers recently for £40 inc P&P - weigh in at about 5lbs each - I have a cab for them to go in but this is no lightweight - looking for one that is.

True, and I suppose I could find a TC BG250 208 which would be more useful to me than just the cab anyway, not to mention cheaper and available used.

I think they're different drivers in the trace cabs? The 1x10 and 2x8 are different from each other.

Are they the faital ones in the 2x8?

I've had a message advising that 100 heads have arrived in the UK.....

Kid...Xmas Eve...me..

I think you get it...

Maybe the Elf heads, like Santa, don't actually exist?

Don't say that.... :( :(

I wait up every year for Santa...

Not exactly - I was advised yesterday that they're here in the UK. They will need to be sent out from the distributors, B&M, to shops (Bass Direct in my case) then shipped from there.

I'm hoping it arrives with me early next week...

Email from Marcus at BD advising my Elf has arrived - would I like it to be sent out today for Monday delivery?
No, you'd like it sent out for Saturday delivery surely? :)

Absolutely.....but TBH receiving it any time in the near future would be nice.

And they are great at it, aren't they Russ ? ;-)

Yes they bloody well are! Royal Mail have a third sense about packages you're eagerly awaiting, they know just the ones to throw against a wall!
