It has gotten rave reviews in Bass player, Bass Gear and Bass Musician mag and has a cult following on TBF. The valve is a EF86 pentode which can also be switched to triode mode, furthermore it has a bass boost and a treble boost switch (selectable frequencies for both). There is a line out (for your power amp or effects return) as well as a di and an amp through (only buffered without the tube). A gain button allows to drive the ef86 hotter. Shipping to UK included as well as an extra Philips EF86 and a xlr-trs cable to use it with a bass amp.
