mgauction
I am preparing to buy another Wal, a MK II so this one may have to go. Very early Pro fretted bass in the very sought after transluscent cherry and in good working condition. Volume pot a slight scratchy but nothing a good spray could not fix. Any interest? Keep in mind I an in the USA so shipping would be quite more than you are used to. Edited October 27, 2008 by mgauction
silverfoxnik
This is a great bass which I had for a year before it went over to The States.. The fretboard has one of the most beautifully figured pieces of rosewood I've ever seen on a bass and Mike is spot-on in that this particular colour was quite rare amongst the early Wals.. A potentially very good buy for either a player or investor. Good luck with the sale!
Rayman
Wish I could. It's my ambition to own a Wal one day, but sadly not at this time. Good luck with it.

mgauction
Oops! It's a 1978 not 1979. It was one of the first production line basses, if that makes much difference to anyone. Just got through playing it and its very nice!
