WILD FROG SHOT
Here is mine: https://soundcloud.com/kieran-spriggs/strata I'd definitely like to improve my production. I always suffer from hiss on my mic'd guitar tracks. I think this is probably from having my amp output quiet and sound interface gain relatively high. Dad3353
Here is mine:...
Excellent; a fine representation of the picture. Hiss..? With my cloth ears and whistling tinnitus, I've no hope of suffering from that..! Sounds good to me (but then again, with what little hearing I have left, it'd have to be monstrous to trouble me..! ). Good work, well done. SpondonBassed
I might take you up on that..! Once my ops and stuff are over (end of month or so, with any luck..?), I could lift the curtain on the days and nights of a retired sedentary armchair ex-musician with time on his hands and a barrow-load of projects 'on the go' at any one time. Be afraid; be very afraid.
As long as you make sure that your y-fronts are on beneath your dressing gown when you lift that curtain I am sure we'll cope. Looking forward to you getting all that hospital faff behind you so's you can pass down the knowledge in comfort.

xgsjx
Three attempts at trying to write something. I'd get a sound that I thought screamed colourful cavern, but as hard as I tried, I was going nowhere. Each one I thought was going to be relaxing "sit back & look at the pretty colours" stuff. But Noooo, not this one. Started from scratch yesterday. Took a sample & chopped it up & rearranged things, added a load of fx & filters & changed the pitch completely. Added a bit of slap bass & put more filters & other colourful things on the different tracks. So, not what first hit me... If you really want to hear it, click on that letter "I". I have a new entry further down. fingers211
I spent the first two weeks on a ditty I quite liked, only for Mrs J to mention that she thought she recognised it ! As it transpired, all I'd managed to to do was re-write the lyrics to 'Echoes' by Pink Floyd Oh how we laughed !! So, a tad rushed, is my entry ! https://soundcloud.com/nigel-jewell/navajo-stone Nige

Chiliwailer
Found some time and spent today making a tune. https://soundcloud.com/user-382247502/journies-end .
I rushed my original version thinking that I wouldn't have time this month. Spent today learning more about Cubase (only my second tune on DAW), so did some new arrangements and mixing. This version is not how I wanted it, but absolutely sick of listening to it now, so here it is! https://soundcloud.com/user-382247502/journies-end

Bilbo
It's three choruses, Doug. One head, one solo, one head and out. The time didn't occur to me until I had finished it. Wasn't paying attention!
Dad3353
I know the problem. I always find that I need at least an allegretto after a scherzo; doesn't seem 'right' otherwise.
xgsjx
Completely redone mine. Wasn't happy with my original entry & felt unfinished. Here's my new entry, I'll delete my old one. https://soundcloud.com/gxmix/light-of-love This one has everything hand played, even the drums.
