anzoid Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Who would do this to a Peavey T40 http://www.ebay.co.u...A-/182554999536 Quote
Bassassin Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Travesty / tragedy. However looks like all the parts (apart from scratchplate) are original & the neck looks like a clean & possibly repairable break. Could be a decent project if it stays cheap enough. Quote
kodiakblair Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Why didn't they chamber out the back if they wanted it lighter. Quote
anzoid Posted May 1, 2017 Author Posted May 1, 2017
Perhaps it was to hide damage?
That's one way of doing it Quote
FlatEric Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Oh my life. . . . that's worse than another similar one I have a pic of!! He had it from new and did that??? Quote
Bigwan Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 If they posted I'd be having that for the parts. Anybody seen what original T40 hardware sells for? Quote
FlatEric Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 A black chop job with a MM type tuner arrangement and something almost as bad as the OP!! Quote

yorks5stringer Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Can I be the first to say "It's all gone pear-shaped"? Quote
You can... and I was the one foolish enough to buy it! Don't worry I haven't finally lost my mind, I just need some parts to fix one up Quote
