Hi all,

Just after a bit of advice really.

I bought the aforementioned guitar from this very forum during 2010. It was bought by a member here and totally unused, and I bought it from him for £600 with the case so it is still in as new condition.

I'm a terrible guitar player and it has been sat in it's case since then.

It's the dual coil tap humbucker version, in natural finish with brass nut and black scratch plate.

Any comments or ideas are welcome as i would like to put it up for sale soon to help with costs of the recent newborn in my life (and to free up some much needed space).

Cheers

Tim

No RRP on their website (I guess it's a discontinued model) but the cheapest GS on there is £715 so £600 seems reasonable depending on the condition. I'd put that as the asking price, note you're open to offers and pick a lowest acceptable price for haggle room.

There's a "new, old stock" on eBay for £650.

I used to stock GS (never an explorer) when I had a shop. Great guitars, but a tough sell. Even harder when Gibson added cheaper versions to their range.

I'd very tentatively suggest around £500, but expect a slow sale.

Good luck.
