la bam
Evening all. I'm seeing on YouTube some cool videos which look like people have attached video cameras to the headstocks on their basses, filming down the fretboard etc. Is there a specific camera or attachment for this effect? Looks great on promo vids.
sellisnba
It will probably be a GoPro, you can attach them to pretty much anything.
fleabag
Indeed, GoPro or something similar. They tend to use very wide angle lenses, so you see a huge headstock, normally
TrevorR
Or you could get a Gorilla Pod Mini and improvise with a compact camera that shoots HD

Mudpup
This is what you need - we use one and its great, you can clamp it in all sorts of interesting places.... Joby Action Clamp with GorillaPod arm https://www.amazon.c...by+action+clamp The version below is similar but the rubber ball joints tend to disintegrate so dont buy this one.... leftybassman392
GoPro Session would be the model of choice.
You'd need to swap the tuners for Hipshot Ultralites, though otherwise you might get a touch of neck dive. Just a smidge.
