lowdown
Here is a chart with Notation and Tab for folks who want that instead. It's been knocking round the net for a while. Not checked it, but I seem to remember that it's ok. It's easy enough to work out if there are any mistakes. (Not sure who did the chart, someone over at TalkBass ? but of course, credit to him/her). http://www.punkjob.com/BandOfGoldBassG2.pdf

When downloaded, change the file extension to pdf, otherwise it will not open. Hope this helps.

ivansc
And in any case it is a dead easy part. It sounds like this could be a fun gig though.

ivansc
You are lucky! I just got booked (Saturday) for a wedding in July. The guy who booked me is er shall we say slightly musically challenged but we go back a long way, the rest of the impromptu band are good players and I like the guy. Did I mention the money is OK? Asked him what the bride and groom were expecting of us music wise. "Oh just my usual stuff - you play mostly guitar and sing, I will play bass apart from on any hard ones & Richard will do guitar and sing on the rest. "by the way they have two requests for songs they really want us to do. "Alice" and "Take it easy" I HATE doing Alice even without the Chubby Brown additions and a four piece band only 2 of whom can sing doing a full on Eagles song??? And of course we apparently wont need a rehearsal. Cant believe I still let myself in for this stuff at my ge!
