sirmuppet
There's a few things on this that set off alarm bells http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/332221571702?euid=6ddbad3f941245b68085880ef6851082&bu=43759092826&cp=1&sojTags=bu=bu
acidbass
Wow, I'm no expert but surely there are questions surrounding the maple fingerboard (not least the 70s TV decal and tuners). Did they even make necks with maple fingerboards in 66? Also, never seen a serial number plate in that format.
wateroftyne
Yep, it's all over the shop. Give it a wide berth.
bassbiscuits
Looks like an early 70s neck, with replacement tuners, new scratch plate, wrong bridge, and different knobs. The neck plate serial number stamp is all wrong and clearly not original. In fairness the price is way too cheap for a 1966 P anyway, so maybe they're quite aware its not all original. Give it a miss...
sirmuppet
Yeah. For me it was the font on the neck plate with the gap in the middle and the decal on the headstock. So much wrong with this that I thought I'd let you all see.
