King Tut
Went to see Hawkwind at Northampton's Roadmender. Stunning show, tight n powerful with lots of old classics. The new material stood up really well too. I was really impressed with their bassist - Haz Wheaton. He's nailed Lemmy's tone and style from the Space Ritual era. If this is your bag, try and catch them, they're on great form! Edited May 16, 2017 by King Tut

Cosmo Valdemar
I'm not a massive fan of Hawkwind, but the new stuff they're playing on Planet Rock is excellent. And yes, a fantastic bass thing going on.

Skybone
Saw them many times while Alan Davey was with them, now he had a killer sound and style. His solo stuff is pretty good too.
Number6
Seeing them at the Roundhouse.....think i've pretty much got every album they've done. And yes Haz Wheaton is a breath of fresh air 👍 P.S. Haz's bass is a R*ckenfaker.....70's Ibanez i believe. FinnDave
Saw Haz play with them last year, and he definitely takes then back to their roots. Good solid bass playing. I'm also seeing them at the Roundhouse next week

FinnDave
I've just found out I'm seeing them twice next week. I know about the Roundhouse, I've the tickets for ages, but I am visiting a friend in Macclesfield for a couple of days to make a radio programme with him, and he just told me he has two tickets for the Buxton gig on Tuesday! Looks like a week to remember coming up!!

They started with an acoustic set - here's my phone footage of Psi Power https://youtu.be/jEL4PYnu6DA

Missed out on getting tickets for the Stroud gig, so Buxton's a real bonus. Plus the people I'm going to the Roundhouse with are jealous as hell!
