Hobbayne Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 (edited) Why is it that when a guitarist asks you if he can have a go on your bass, they always try to play a solo up at the 12th fret, get bored and hand it back saying the neck is too wide?? Edited May 17, 2017 by Hobbayne Quote
Grangur Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017
Why is it that when a guitarist asks you if he can have a go on your bass, they always try to play a solo up at the 12th fret, get bored and hand it back saying the neck is too wide??
You missed out the other comment of, "how do you play on gas-pipes like that?" Yet, isn't that a successful outcome on many levels? 1. The bass is back on the stand undamaged. 2. The guitarist has got it out of his system and won't come back to often. 3. He didn't like it 4. He didn't show you how to play the solo you've struggled with for 3 weeks. 5. He's not after taking your place in the band. Yep, you dodged a bullet there. Quote
