Since PMT does price drop on their gear I am Gasing to get and pair the following two.

Hartke VX410, Power Handling: 400 watts @ 8 ohms

With

Hartke LH500, 500 watts of power @ 4 ohms

Can I match these two and would will be the wattage?

Hey Fella, hope you are well, glad to see you've still got the Steve harris Sig Bass.

Yes they'll work together just fine.

That amp will put between 300-350w into the 8ohm cab. So no concerns.

Hey Lewis
I'm well thanks. Bass is never going to leave, I was like a 5 year old at Christmas when I got it..

Those Hartke amps and cabs seem to he a bargain at £360 for the rig.
I'm between lh500 more power or ha2500 with graphic equaliser. But like the simplicity of lh 500. I could always use my hartke pedal and tc spectracomp.

Hope you're well and business going well too.

I've had the HA3500 and the LH500

They sound a little different - but the LH500 is just a great reliable simple amp. It has massive headroom so you may well need a compressor to tame the peaks a bit - but you've got a Spectracomp so all is good!

I have a LH500 head. It's a great amp! It's been relegated to back up amp behind my TC Electronic BH500 mind, but it's still a great amp.
If you can get a Spectracomp pedal, which the BH500 has built in, You'll be fine. If not, then just use the LH500's Limiter button.
Oh, and the LH500 has an output of 350 watts @ 8 ohms, so you'll be fine using it with a 400 watt 8 ohm cab!

at those prices grab another cab to get full use out of the amp :)

Then you only need one cab for small shows / rehearsal, only take both when needed

another 410 or the 115 cab. don't tell talk bass tho if u mix em

Why?

post a thread asking if it's ok to use a 115 and 410s

it's the same as asking them why they pack guns with their basses lol

What all the guys said above.

I had a LH1000, power for days, lovely amp, remember 'flat' EQ is bass and treble on 3 and mid on 10 and work from there to get what you want
