MoonBassAlpha
A friend of mine has a strat with a replacement middle pickup that he loves. While i was at his place, he phoned the luthier who fitted it to ask what it was. The reply came: "dunno, you supplied it!" So, can anyone think of a strat pickup with adjustable hex key pole screws? I first thought DiMarzio, like the bass pickups, but haven't seen any pictures of old ones that bear this out. The cover is very worn, very cream. Any thoughts? zapp
Didn't Mighty Mite use hex pole pieces as well?
Signal Path
Kent Armstrong also made pickups with hex grub screws. I have a see thru Strat pickup in my parts cupboard, that's made by him,it must be 25 years old now at least. The coil and magnets are sunk in to clear resin What was I thinking !
