My jazz bass bought brand new on 2009. Sold on 2015. Now my current is my Lakland 55-94 bought used 2014. Still with me up to now. I think I'll take this with me to the grave.

Been using my 66 Jazz Bass for 10 years and toured and recorded it. Sold the other 15 basses I had at the time and went down to this one. Added the 64’ this year, but it’s only been played for about 3 hours so I might sell it and go back down to the one.

My Wal 5 string is 28 years with me. I bought it new back then. With a few exceptions it´s my main bass ever since.

I've had my jap Jazz brand new since 1998. I still own every bass I've bought except one,my first bass,a Squier Jazz in midnight blue.

Before I found basschat I had a Status Stealth which I had for about 10 years and only sold when my daughter was born and I gave up playing for a while, since I found basschat basses are lucky to last a year!!

I owned a Charvel 2B for around 29 years u believe. Bought it when they first came out in the late 80's and sold it recently.

I've had the same 1978 (or 1979) Fender Precision since 1999. I will never be selling it. I've had a 1974 Gibson EB3 since 2000 which I won't selling either. Those are the only basses I own that are older than me.

I had a Westfield Precision bass since 1998, but I gave to my nephew last year as a Christmas give.

Just copped this thread. I have owned my Thumb 4 NT fretted since new 1988, I twinned it about 7 years ago with an ‘89 Fretless. Promised to my grandson as a legacy so they are going nowhere.

Ibanez musician I brought from tiger music in Brighton in 1984 and my Wal mk II I got from the bass centre wapping in errr 1992 I think
