Tuco
Deffo the cream of the crop of EHX's synth pedals HAVE to get one at some point!! a lot of people slate EHX but I think they're fantastic (I only own one tho, the Freeze) they always keep coming up with new ideas like these ones (b9? C9?) and that Ravish Sitar appeals to me! Don't sound that much like a sitar on bass but I could Deffo use one in my electronica outfit, sounds craay! blue
Seems like the patches sound better than that Boss Synth Pedal that I pulled from my board. Thing is it depends on the genre of music your band plays. For some genres a synth pedal would be useless. Blue

blue
I actually get a nice synth sound from combining OD, Delay, Chorus, Distortion, Verb and Bass Octave. Blue Edited May 25, 2017 by blue
Most folks here on Bass Chat are in rock, blues, pop, metal, prog and jazz bands. None of those genres require bass guitars but most have a bass guitarist. EBS_freak
Just so you don't get caught out - It doesn't track lower than an A.
Good point, same with my MRX Bass Octave pedal. I'm usually playing up in the 12th fret area. Blue
