DanH71
Hi, Looking for a padded gig bag preferably with two straps (padded would be good) and that has a padded compartment that is big enough to hold the Aguilar th350 along with cables etc. Any ideas? Thanks Dan
CameronJ
Big thumbs up here for a Protection Racket deluxe bass case. Rigid foam case, plenty of protection, and big pockets (especially on the deluxe version) which will easily hold your Aguilar plus a load of extra stuff you might want to take with you. The Gator ProGo cases sound similarly functional and I've heard good things about them too. Either of the two I've suggested will cost less than the equivalent Mono bag! DanH71
Thanks CameronJ. For that. Will be sure to check them out.
DanH71
So...had a look again and both are a little on the pricey side for my budget. I know it's worth looking after your bass but I'm not that precious (it's a jazz squire VM and not Jacos original fretless Jazz). Just need something to keep the dust off and fit the amp head in. Any other suggestions anyone on less expensive gig bags?
chris_b
One of the larger laptop bags? I use those foam filled aluminium cases from Maplins for my TH500's.
Paul S
Charity shops usually have loads of old lap top bags for next to nothing.
Jakester
I have a G&L bag that came with a bass. It's fantastic, well padded and has a large pocket which should fit a head in. Worth a look if you can find one. Edited May 24, 2017 by Jakester
EBS_freak
https://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_e_bass_gigbag_premium.htm?ref=search_prv_3 This may be the ticket. I've got one - but can't remember for the life of me if the pocket is padded or not. But can get some dimensions for you later to see if the Aggie would fit in there. Crawford13
The gator pro go gig bag is pretty awesome. I have the 2 bass version, great padding great straps, has a rain cover, and plenty of space for a TH350. Also has a padded section specially for an iPad which I find handy.
