ebenezer Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Got to say, i like the look of these new basses, and i think we all know, cort build quality is very good....Mmm Quote

Showing a glimpse of the new models on the banner then only showing the old models below. Saying that, the new ones look great. EDIT: Cort US site shows them all, very nice. http://www.cortguitars.com/en/product/series_view.asp?qCate=00003&idx=128 Edited May 24, 2017 by BassApprentice Quote
Hutton Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I have seen a review of the new Corts at the NAAM show. I think it was on YouTube or from the Cort site itself. I have two Corts and they are cracking basses for the money. Quote
Rich Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Ooh I say. The GB75 and GB5 Custom look very much my cuppa char. Dear Santa... Quote
Cosmo Valdemar Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Shame there isn't a fancy one with a P pickup... 😕 Quote
Hutton Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017
Did Cort used to be Kay?
Interesting. Why do you think this? Quote
Dood Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I *could* tell you that the GB74JJ is a brilliant bass for the money, but then, you wouldn't wait until my full review coming up of it... I love what they have done over the old GB models. Some nice upgrades there. Quote

6feet7 Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Having had an A4 and B4 and now have a Jeff Berlin Rithimic V and can say I think that they are superb instruments, I can't wait to see these new ones in the flesh. Quote
timhiggins Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 My GB74 is a great bass and the lightest bass i've owned so perfect for gigging i will definitely be taking a look at the Jazz version Quote
BassApprentice Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017
Badass bridges?
Specs say Omega...so yes basically BassAss Bridges. Quote
uk_lefty Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Can't see if any are available in lefty... They usually look after us, just can't see which models are available upside down? A GB custom five could be a cost friendly alternative to a sandberg Quote
I don't know about that, but I have a couple of MIK Fender guitars that have "Cortech" written inside them. They are pretty good although the frets (on both) were a bit sharp and needed to be rounded off. Edited May 25, 2017 by darkandrew Quote
Machines Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 I had a GB75 for a couple of years. Upgraded to Aguilar pickups which helped alot. But something just didn't take me. Sounded good flat but preamp really shoddy compared to other brands (massive hiss in treble and bottom end too boomy). I tried for so long to love it but eventually never did so sold it. No regrets.
