Geek99
I have an urge to make a natural 75 reissue type jazz using a hard Ash body and 70s spacing. I know about the sanding bit - does anyone have any recommendations for particular sanding sealer, and clear lacquer - tinted or not. I want it nitro and to be a thin coat. There will be tort content later thanks
Number6
You really cannot beat YouTube for a lot of these things. But from experience sanding, then sanding again.....with maybe a bit more sanding. Then.....very important make sure that any dust from the sanding is removed! Usually a damp but not too damp cloth suffices.

kevin_lindsay
I always use the nitro from Steve at Manchester Guitar Tech too. I've used his lacquer on my various builds and refinishes over the past few years - fabtastic stuff. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/299369-my-blackguard-tele-build/page__fromsearch__1 http://basschat.co.uk/topic/243590-andy-summers-tele-build/page__fromsearch__1 http://basschat.co.uk/topic/217598-olympic-white-6662-style-jazz-bass-build/page__fromsearch__1 Edited May 25, 2017 by kevin_lindsay
