cLepto-bass Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Hi ladies and gents, Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the best/highly recommended bass chord books out there on the market right now. Many years ago I had a copy of the Chords Bassics book by Jona Hellborg which I remember being (just) ok but just curious if there is a specific book that offers more. Thanks in advance Quote
mep Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I have a copy of that book too. Good luck with your search for another. Quote
louisthebass Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 BGM columnist Philip Mann has a couple of really good chord tone books out at the moment - am currently working my way through the first one, with the second waiting in the wings. The books are only available through Philip - drop him a PM on his FB page... Quote
paul_5 Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I used to love that Jonas Hellborg book. You've got me wondering what happened to it... Quote
cLepto-bass Posted May 28, 2017 Author Posted May 28, 2017
I used to love that Jonas Hellborg book. You've got me wondering what happened to it...
No idea what happened to mine either. I am happy to rebuy the same book but just thought I would see if there are any more recent comprehensive alternatives. Happy for more recommendations if anyone has any. Cheers Quote
