Muziekschuur
Based on Berry Oakley's traktor bass I am making a similar bass. I won't use the two small pots under the bisonic pickup. Instead I will use stacked pots. I have used a chinese pickup instead of a bisonic pickup. The bass colour is different. I have used two Fender pickups. It will be called a the chinese name for 'tractor' because of its a chinese bass. I have used a Jack & Danny 1975 jazz bass. WIch is a chinese (?) manufactured bass.

SpondonBassed
Is a bi-sonic pick up like a humbucker?
ivansc
It grooves both ways though...
Muziekschuur
Nope. This is a chinese rickenbacker knockoff. But it sounds very close to a traktor bass. Maybe I will run into that large single coil bisonic pickup. I am very happy with those two pickups by the bridge. Sounds good. Two stacked pots are on it's way. The back pickups are Original Fender pickups. Not the most expensive... But decent stuff.
Muziekschuur
The bisonic pickup is a big single coil. Now available as a pickup from Guild https://shop.guildguitars.com/product/guild-bs-1-bisonic-bass-pickup/
