Hi

Ordered MB500 fusion which arrives next week.
I go away on holiday day after it arrives when I get back I have 2 gigs so wont have time to fiddle with settings.

Any settings people use to get me started
Switches on the top of unit - anyone use or leave alone for now.

Gig 1 :- Rock Covers band (kings Leon - Led Zep)

Gig 2 :- Originals - Like Fleetwood Mac / Texas

Limiter on, I keep the other two switches off. After that try using a fair amount of gain so it starts to get hairy then set the volume to match the situation. With a very hot output p bass I tended to have it around 12o clock gain.

I use a very similar set up to you. GK Barefaced BB2 and Super Compact.

Unlike others I tend to not have the gain up high on this amp, my preference is for the master up higher. Most of the controls at 12 o'clock, with the mids boosted up a bit more. Switches on top off.

I think thats the way GK advise as well and this too works for me (although i have the MB800 ). I have channel 2's gain maxed out though, and control this with the Master for that channel. Gives a nice warmer tone when needed using the foot switch.
