Hi,

This bass is a Fender Jazz, but I do not think this is an original model. Does anybody have an idea what PU's this man has put into it ?

Btw it is Joe Thomas' bassist around 2013.

Cheers
Ben

Don't know if they were available at the time but don't Nordstrand do some pickups called fat boys?

There were some Seymour Duncan pickups called NYC's or something.

Looks like a modded bass anyhow

Looks a little like a Modern Player but it's not quite right.

I think it is a Modern Player.

Original video seems to be this:

To me it looks more like an American Deluxe Jazz V. The model before the latest redesign when they went to block inlays. The dual string trees give it away...

The high mass bridge (maybe a BadAss V?) and pickups (Stingray-esque but without the lugs) are certainly aftermarket.

Edit: pickups are maybe something like this:

Thanks, looks very much like it.
I found clips back to 2009 with the same bass. It is really old.
Both the Seymour Duncans and Nordstrands (musicman models) look possible as pickups.
