benny666
Hi, This bass is a Fender Jazz, but I do not think this is an original model. Does anybody have an idea what PU's this man has put into it ? Btw it is Joe Thomas' bassist around 2013. Cheers Ben
Westenra
Looks like those humbuckers found on their dimension bass range.
Jack
Looks a little like a Modern Player but it's not quite right.
AndyTravis
Don't know if they were available at the time but don't Nordstrand do some pickups called fat boys? There were some Seymour Duncan pickups called NYC's or something. Looks like a modded bass anyhow
Wylie
The pickups look like those on an older model G&L.

~tl
Original video seems to be this: https://www.youtube....h?v=1AIGEMl2mUI To me it looks more like an American Deluxe Jazz V. The model before the latest redesign when they went to block inlays. The dual string trees give it away... The high mass bridge (maybe a BadAss V?) and pickups (Stingray-esque but without the lugs) are certainly aftermarket. Edit: pickups are maybe something like this: http://www.seymourduncan.com/pickup/music-man-system-5-strg-ceramic-4-knobs Edited June 2, 2017 by ~tl
benny666
American Deluxe Jazz V. The model before the latest redesign
Thanks, looks very much like it. I found clips back to 2009 with the same bass. It is really old. Both the Seymour Duncans and Nordstrands (musicman models) look possible as pickups.
Prime_BASS
More likely to be nordstrands as I can't see any markings on the pickups.
