Mudpup
Just found this yesterday on the Zoom site - it should make a great pedal even better V2.0 firmware update now available https://www.zoom.co.jp/products/multistomp/zoom-ms-60b-multistomp-bass-pedal#downloads Adds 84 new effects including a load of amp models Heres the new list - the ones with blue stars next to them are the new ones https://www.zoom.co.jp/sites/default/files/products/downloads/pdfs/E_MS-60B_FX-list_v2.pdf I just did the update without any issues - although be aware you need to turn the power off whilst you do the update - and it seems to preserve all your old patches without a problem Off to have a noodle now........ elephantgrey
Before I try this, does it keep your presets still, or will I have to write down settings first?
Elfrasho
Cheers for the heads up! Anything exciting? (I can't view that pdf on my Phone for some reason) Edited June 3, 2017 by Elfrasho

[/quote] It kept all my presets and just added a bunch of new effects and amps in Takes about a minute to set up and download everything - simples :-) Re anything exciting, I've just had a bit of a potter about with it. Theres GK, Ampeg B15, Eden, SWR and a few more amp sims. Some analog flanger and chorus stuff and a bunch of new modulation effects. Also a nice Studio Compressor. And a ton of other things that i haven't looked at yet. Added 84 new effects i believe to the existing 54 - but i haven't counted.... dave_bass5
My PC (windows 10) wont even see my 60B as anything other than a generic device that has stopped working (so effectively it wont see it). Anyone got any ideas what to try?
elephantgrey
My down button isn't working. Of course that's the one I need to hold =[.
dave_bass5
I got my 60B working, but had to plug in my 50G to get the drivers working. Bonus though as there is also an update for the 50G that has the TC Corona chorus pedals in it. Now my sons 50G will become my chorus pedal. pete.young
I recognise some of these 'new' effects from the B1on .
Elfrasho
Alot of extra verbs and delays.. which are cool but not necessarily going to be used on bass (personally speaking) however this could easily now be used on a guitar board as the 'delay' pedal. lots of options. A few new preamps.... I'me sure the fliptop was on the b3 which was my favourite whilst i had it. I love getting a firmware, it pretty much feels like a new pedal now! Cheers zoom! By the way... I managed to get it installed from an xp pc. the little bit of software didnt see it as an ms60b but i still tried it and it worked fine. Ba55me15ter
Looks like a lot of the new patches have been brought across from the MS70CDR.
pete.young
By the way, thanks to the OP for the heads up. If you hadn't mentioned it, I would never have known about it, so thank you for posting. I've just upgraded the firmware on my one, everything went smoothly with no issues.
