Lozz196
NOW SOLD One splitter cable from Barefaced. Basically enables you to connect two 4ohm cabs for example to a 4ohm head. Not just for Barefaced cabs though, will work with any make, so long as your amp and cabs all take Speakon connectors. Deedee
Hi Lozz Do you know if this would this still work if the amp end speak-on was changed to a jack plug?
Lozz196
I can`t see why not, but might be wise PMing someone like OBBM for his advice - he did knock up something similar for me, but again was speakons.
obbm
Is this a serial cable or a parallel cable Lozz?
Lozz196
Now that`s a question Dave. It`s in a triangle shape if that`s of any help. When I bought the splitter box from you to do the same job, allow connecting 2 4ohm cabs up to a 4ohm head, your other option was one of these if I recall correctly. obbm
In that case it's wired to put two 4-ohm cabinets in series creating an 8-ohm load to the amplifier. As far as I can see there should be no reason why you couldn't change one or all of the Speakons to jacks. You just need to be sure that everything is in-phase.
