String identification experts, if you please...

...a little help - a 4 string set that came on my MM Sterling.

E- Gold
A- Red
D- Purple ? (or a very dark blue according to Mrs. Pook)
G- Green

They're 100-80-65-45.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

They have slightly different coloured ball ends. I think the 7250s have more of a turquoise green?

Sorry, quick search so I didn't grab larger images.

{edit} These are obviously guitar strings, but the colours used are the same if not necessarily exactly for each string.

Yes, I saw those but still wasn't sure, mainly as I'm pretty bad at telling colours apart.

If Fender use the same colours throughout their range then they must be D'addarios as they're not the same as a Fender set I have on another bass.

A set of EXL170s arrived today, straight onto the MM and soooo much better than the Status strings.

I've stuck with Status strings for ages as I hoped they'd get their problems sorted out, but this may be the parting of the ways.

Shame, especially as I'd just bought a job lot
