I bought this amp to use for quieter acoustic sessions and possibly a bit of busking (the amp runs off batteries), neither came to fruition. I have found the amp useful for practice at home. I have a short scale bronco bass and it's quite comfortable sitting on the sofa, bass in hand, with the amp on the coffee table.
