Harryburke14 Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 Sorry if it's been discussed before, but I've just stumbled across the entire Sire range on the Andertons website! this means that some of the best value for money basses about no longer have to be shipped in from Germany via Thommann, which I'm sure will help everyone's GAS Quote
CameronJ Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 This is dangerous, especially since the new P/Js are coming out soon. I suspect they're gonna rake in a lot of money from these. Quote
Raslee Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Oh dear, just when you thought the credit card was safe...then comes along P7's, M9's etc etc....and 0% interest options....oh deary dear Quote
BassBunny Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 They also appear to be cheaper than Thomann presumably because of the £/Euro exchange rate. Quote
Storky Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Andertons are going crazy; stocking all sorts of new lines including Warwick, Spector, Musicman and even Chowny as well as Sire! They're certainly making the effort; much better than when I went last year when the basses were relegated to one small room. Quote

la bam Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Can't wait for this! Although I've ordered from thomann before without issue, a UK supplier will be much more reassuring for customer service for a delicate item like posting a bass. Quote
bubinga5 Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 There alot more expensive than Thomann. Ash V7 5 at Thomann with free shipping is£511. same bass at Anderton,s is £559. Quote

timhiggins Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 So it is i reckon that's worth pre-ordering before it goes up ! Quote

CameronJ Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 The whole Sire range is just bass porn. Good lord. I'm torn between this - https://www.andertons.co.uk/p/P7SWAMASH4TS/electric-basses/sire-marcus-miller-p7-swamp-ash-4-string-tobacco-sunburst And this - https://www.andertons.co.uk/p/V7SWAMASH4TS/electric-basses/sire-marcus-miller-v7-swamp-ash-4-string-tobacco-sunburst I slightly prefer the Jazz aesthetically but would probably end up going with the PJ for tone tbh... (are there any left at all, really?!?!) Fortunately I am not based in the UK and have a temporary restriction to buy bass stuff. Otherwise, I'd be going mad!! Quote
