AndyTravis Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Well, was looking for something very modern and possibly a status... But I've had PRS feelings for a while... Always fancied one - spec'd this bass (except with bird inlays) when I worked for Dawsons. They gave a wait time of 12 months and a trade price was even a bit rich... This was after I demo'd one in sunburst/rosewood. First time I've seen one in blue matteo ever. So I got it bought. Think they were really cool and underrated. Only minor complaint is the grub screw to lock the saddles seems to be a little reluctant at the minute so will have a closer look when kids are in bed. Sounds lovely in passive mode and the preset preamp feature with passive tone still in the circuit works well. Sounds a bit like a darker Marcus Miller Jazz. Quote
Cosmo Valdemar Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Classy! That blue with the maple neck is stunning. Quote

ezbass Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Nice basses, I really liked the one I tried when they first appeared. Gibson meets MM meets Fender. Quote
Rikki_Sixx Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Very nice! I love PRS guitars but haven't paid much attention to their bass range - clearly I'm a fool! Great colour combo, and those pickups look interesting. Quote
