KiOgon
Yep still getting the same as OP, it's been going on for months and only when visiting basschat.
Rumple
I got it a couple of days ago when clicking on a BC link to Photobucket.
chris_b
I've seen this twice, this year. Doesn't cause any trouble as I'm running Norton and it jumps in.
Roger2611
Yeah, I keep getting it, bloody frustrating and if I am honest it does discourage me from visiting the site as often as I used to!

I've been getting it once/twice a week for several weeks, always on basschat too. Frank.
ped
Ok I think it's one of the banners which calls up a code for an external tracker. Its 100% safe but presumably triggering a virus warning in some systems. I'll stop it and see if we can change the code.

[/quote] That screenshot looks to me like a fake virus warning - I've seen similar where you're invited to call 'Microsoft' (and then probably be invited to hand over some payment by credit card). In other words it's a scam pop-up. Edited July 3, 2017 by HowieBass

machinehead
I got it again just now. I've been on the laptop for 40 minutes or so, 1 minute after I opened basschat up the b*****d pops again. Very annoying because it's not easy to get rid of. I use task manager. Frank.

PaulWarning
this is about the longest I've gone without this pop up, hopefully it's been sorted, thanks in anticipation
machinehead
I've been away for three nights and not been on the net at all. As soon as I clicked to open basschat tonight, up it pops again. I'm sick of these people. Frank.
Mudpup
Its not sorted - i was getting it today on a Windows 10 laptop in Chrome.
sprocketflup
I have to say, I've not seen it for a while now, so something that has been done has changed it for some users. Just for the record, I run windows 10 and use IE 11 as my browser.
mep
Got it again the other day. Pressed enter and closed the tab. Annoying but harmless.

Mornats
I got it just now. Had it on and off for months.Something dodgy going on with one of the banner ad partners maybe? Most likely it's coming into the site that way I reckon.
