Cheers, compared to the ABM the mids and highs are a bit clearer. I don't know if that's because the ABM has more bass response, or if this has less

£63.24 for everything except the speakers and a few parts.

You only need a few tools - a drill, screwdriver and router (or jigsaw) pretty much covers it.

Got the wood from B&Q, they do 6'x2' or 8'x4' sheets of 12mm ply. Check them well and make sure they're decent pieces. They'll also cut the sheets to the size you want.
I got the bracing there too, 18mmx20mm planed hardwood in 2.4m lengths.

hmm tools I could aquire but I live in a third floor flat, not ideal for serious DIY lol. If I can ever find space to build one very very very tempted

Awesome man, this is what its all about, not just playing, but actually making your own gear, that most likely sounds better than you could buy ready made!!.
Plus you're going to enjoy playing through it far more, and at the gig where someone comes up to you, and says '' great sound man, what make is the cab?''
