If it sounds half as good as it looks, watch out cab manufacturers everywhere!!!!! Well done that man!
Cheers, compared to the ABM the mids and highs are a bit clearer. I don't know if that's because the ABM has more bass response, or if this has less
MB1. Very Professional sir! are the red and green ones prototypes?
Yep but the binman keeps moving them every fortnight
nice, how much did that cost you all and all?
£63.24 for everything except the speakers and a few parts.
that is a steal, hmmm i may just be tempted. where did you get the wood from again?
Got the wood from B&Q, they do 6'x2' or 8'x4' sheets of 12mm ply. Check them well and make sure they're decent pieces. They'll also cut the sheets to the size you want. I got the bracing there too, 18mmx20mm planed hardwood in 2.4m lengths. Quote
d-basser Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 hmm tools I could aquire but I live in a third floor flat, not ideal for serious DIY lol. If I can ever find space to build one very very very tempted Quote
SS73 Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Awesome man, this is what its all about, not just playing, but actually making your own gear, that most likely sounds better than you could buy ready made!!. Plus you're going to enjoy playing through it far more, and at the gig where someone comes up to you, and says '' great sound man, what make is the cab?'' Quote
