jimbartlett Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Just finished my Bitsa P Bass and I'm over the moon! It has a Status Graphite Precision Bass neck, Hipshot Ultralite machine heads with a Hipshot Ultralite drop tuner. The pickup made made by Mark from Limelight and is his 60s Vintage wound split. Hipshot bridge, Schaller strap locks and a KiOgon loom. Plays like butter and sounds amazing! Quote
Happy Jack Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Those Status P-bass necks are simply amazing. The punch and clarity are hard to beat. Quote
Danuman Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Cool specs! Is that an A-style bridge? I replaced the bridge on my Precision with a Hipshot Kickass, but it looked awful. Quote
jimbartlett Posted June 13, 2017 Author Posted June 13, 2017 The neck is amazing, I'm so happy with it! Yes it's an A Style bridge, really good and nice to adjust. The only snag was that I had to fill the existing holes and then drill new ones as it is not a straight replacement for a Fender. Quote
LewisK1975 Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Have to agree, great specs and great looks, not something I would have thought to do myself...top work! Quote
prowla Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 I recently sold a fretless one (J-bass), but I've still got its fretted cousin. Quote

Oopsdabassist Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Oohhhhhhhhhh! Nurse! My Kinda P...beautiful job! Quote
ead Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Nice; I presume the cream/white p/up covers are in case you put it down in a dark room? Quote
Harryburke14 Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 that's lovely that - think the white pup covers are a nice touch Quote
jimbartlett Posted June 17, 2017 Author Posted June 17, 2017 Thanks guys. I really like the white covers too! This neck is just superb, I can't get over how much I love it. Quote
