CameronJ
...but what will the customs import fees bump the price up to?

[/quote] Add about 25% on top of the unit price and shipping. That will be close.
fretmeister
I was looking at the little compressor. Including shipping it is £64.75. Adding 25% (vat at 20% and then import at (I think) 4.4) makes that £81 Amazon have them for £89.

Then another £8 or £13 for the handling charge at this end = £180 Thomann have them for £169 ( 192 Euro) - need another 8 euro for free shipping. If you don't get pinged for the tax then all is good - but if not, there's no advantage. I'd be worried about the warranty position - having to send it back to NZ would be expensive. CameronJ
Ah yes, lest we forget that bloody handling charge! Good thing I asked... Thanks for the heads up about Thomann stock though.

I'll keep you updated on the import charges as I get them in case your interested.
fretmeister
Yes please. I've never bought from New Zealand before. I've always been pinged when buying from USA
