Dennis Dunaway - He's back!

Alice Cooper has just announced that on his November UK tour this year he will be joined by the original band! Result! I was a huge Dennis Dunaway fan in my teens/ twenties. What a tour to catch him on.

Hopefully get a ticket for that. Should be an epic performance. Dennis was one of my influences as a teenager. His style and technique was way beyond my capapbilities at the time and i was in awe of him. And he was a cool looking dude into the bargain.

Mate of mine was lucky enough to catch DD playing with Blue Coupe (Albert & Joe Bouchard, DD + others) at a book signing in the US last year. He got some great pics with the Man Himself, and also appears in the video of "Eighteen" someone shot at the event (black t-shirt / brown strides, front row, standing up at 4:07). Definitely one of those "wish I'd been there too" moments...

there's been some youtube footage of the original band from some shows recently - sounding great. I'll be seeing if there's any tix left for Glasgow.

Will the original band be doing the whole gig, or just joining him on stage for a few numbers? I believe they have recorded a new EP together that comes bundled with the new album, which I assume doesn't feature the original players.

I love Dennis - my favourite bassist. Also a huge contributor to the original AC visuals, concept, presentation.

All clues suggest the original band will be playing for just part of the set. I'm definitely going to try to get to the Manchester show.

I'm almost tempted to break my 'no arenas' gig rule for this.

I saw Alice live 4 or 5 times in my youth, but I think the original line up split about a year after I was born. It would be great to see them live.

I don't care, the chance to see AC play with Dennis and Neal is HUGE for me. My wife and I saw the band in 2013 and they were great. Having seen the reformed Kiss struggle through a 2hr performance with the quite frankly amateur Ace and Peter I think a mini set is the way forward.

This really has made my day.

This. And Gutter Cat Vs the Jets. First 2 basslines I ever learned. Wore out the original Lp and had to buy a new copy (without panties) after a while.

Remember the fold up School Desk and the paper panties and the graffiti on the desk top just not the same nowadays....the killer album with the calendar but my favourite and still one of them today is love it to death great memories
