Had a Wilkes P a few year back, such a well made solid guitar.
Any thoughts on this?

The defret looks like it was done by a very angry butcher, so would need a bit of love. The pickups look like they just need some screws.
Quite fancy it if it doesn't get silly bids.

It does look a bit like someone cut-and-shut the front of an Aria body onto the back of an Alembic.

Looks like a nice piece of wood, mind.

That Wilkes has been a beautiful bass, and could be again, with some tlc and a pro refret.

Would like to hope someone here will get it & bring it back to life. :)

I'm usually a dyed in the wool fender shape kinda guy so know what you mean, but I find this one quite alluring...oh matron...

And some screws and foam for the pickups.
The Reflex were an alternative to the EMG at the time. Hope for you that they still work...

EKO were an Italian builder who went out of business in the 70s (I think). Most of the parts were bought up by Brandoni in Wembley. They're pretty good basses - not a bad price for that one.
