Pinball
There is one on US ebay at the moment for a £509 so they don't look expensive. I hope they do a 5 stringer
Musicman20
They need to push the US series more...
I agree actually, I think the US models are potential winners. Great sound options and nice and light, what's not to like?

hamfist
Hmmmmm. basswood body. IME, hard to get a great sound from. Only the Bongo has managed it consistently so far.
scalpy
Blackstar being the new UK distributor should help, they did a great job with a new amp line. Not sure about the Kiloton, the video demos haven't done much for me but they look cool as. Also not sure about G&L being more high profile, quite like mine being from a niche manufacturer. But then don't understand why they are more popular either!
Grahambythesea
So everyone talks about them being light. Having given up Ps and Js as too heavy what do these weigh?
Woodinblack
My L2500 certainly isn't light. It isn't the heaviest bass I have had, but I think it is the heaviest of the 9 basses I have at the moment.
Conan
My M2000 tribute is lighter than my three J basses, but probably not by that much. I've never weighed it (but I can if it would be helpful...)
BassApprentice
OooooOOoooo very interesting. Now just to find a shop that stocks one
stingrayPete1977
A P bass body with a humbucker quite near the bridge and high mass bridge, I've seen something similar before somewhere......
CamdenRob
My M2000 tribute is lighter than my three J basses
My Wal is approximately the weight of three jazz basses... CameronJ
I feel the only thing that could improve this picture is a tort guard and a maple neck.
