One little comment... TBirds can be marmite basses once you get your hands on them. They certainly look cool but I know a good few folks who love the look but hate everything about how they hang on a strap etc. On the other hand I know loads of TBird addicts. A try before you buy bass...

I feel exactly the same about Rickenbackers. Love everything about them except playing them.
