How to build a dream bass for only $150 as long as you have several $k worth of tools, a handy workshop to use them in, a friend with a CNC and the ability to draw detailed shapes with a dremel by hand :D

Indeed - just get a cheap squier, set it up properly and throw some other pickups in, jobs good!

I think the laddie did great. His mate with the CNC didn't do the scratchplate so he used a scroll saw (£100), the lad said he could have used a coping saw but that takes ages. The Dremel did most of the work and they're about £60.

His finished product looked and sounded good so it'll be interesting to see it when active. Will he go for Ming's/Belcat, Artec or shove the boat out on a $40 Tone Monster :)
