UKLooney
Hi, I'm looking to source a Fender Wide Range Humbucker, new or used. Anyone know where I can find these? I've tried all the usual places online. These pickups can be found on the Fender Modern Player Telecaster and Fender Starcaster amongst others. Thanks

mike257
The Creamery and Oil City both do their own takes, or will rewind the modern Fender efforts (which are basically a standard humbucker in a big shiny box) to something more closely approximating the original spec. dannybuoy
Try contacting Fender? Or you can always go vintage: https://reverb.com/uk/item/4340764-fender-vintage-telecaster-bass-wrhb-wide-range-humbucker https://reverb.com/uk/item/4340949-fender-vintage-telecaster-bass-wrhb-wide-range-humbucker Edited June 22, 2017 by dannybuoy
UKLooney
Hi, Thanks for the replies. I had looked on both the Creamery and Oil City sites, but couldn't (still can't) find anything similar. I'm guessing they might do a custom order? The cans might be a problem? I've not contacted fender, though I've had a good look through their parts list and also on their site with no luck. I'll probably drop them an email. https://issuu.com/fender/docs/2015-fender-accessories-price-list As for going vintage, I'm really looking for a shiney new modern pickup. converse320
If it can be made, Creamery can make it. He's very helpful, drop him an email.
dannybuoy
I've no idea about Fender, but I know you can phone up Yamaha and order spare parts including pickups for anything they make. Just because they don't advertise them doesn't mean they won't sell you one!
UKLooney
Got this back from Fender. Do you know where I can get one? Thanks
Hi, Unfortunately not. However, I do see that they come up from time to time on Ebay and Reverb.com. My apologies. I wish that we had them available for sale. Fender Musical Instruments 17600 N.
