AgentCooper
Poor beast has sat far too long in corner of spare room, and I need to start practicing again !!! Mine has the (far too lightweight) bass guitar machines (and one has failed) so after suggestions for either later units Jerry used or alternatives? Evil bay seller has some around £50 that look like improvement but looks can be deceiving Cheers David
TPJ
Maybe you could post pics of the heads. Sometimes they look like bass guitar ones when they might not actually be. If they are, then it's probably worth investing in something well made. Also, lets see some pics of the bass too . I've always wanted a Bespoke but was never in a position to buy when they rarely came up.
TheRev
I have a spare tuner from my Eminence EUB that I'll happily part with if it fits? IT's essentially a jumbo sized electric bass tuner.
JPJ
My KK Baby Bass has conventional bass guitar elephant ear tuners, but because they've been mounted without ferrules, I was able to snap one of mine when the string bound up on the side of the peg box. AgentCooper
These are standard P/J bass elephant ears. Similar issue to the KK as no ferrules but to be fair just not meaty enough too. Friend has a Bespoke too but that has proper Upright machines with a big faceplate cut down to the pegbox !!
