tom1946
As title, stacked 50's plate with socket and screw connections. This was on a body I bought and I haven't used it so it might as well go. £30 delivered cheers. silverfoxnik
Hi Tom Is this a standard jazz bass scratch plate size do you know, and do you have an overhead picture of it? Thanks Nik
tom1946
Hiya Nik, it's not a Jazz plate, it's an old style sting type bassplate. I'll take another pic if you like? cheers, Tom. Edited July 2, 2017 by tom1946

machinehead
How does this work Tom? Is it for a two pickup bass? I'm just confused because the 51 style Precision has only one pickup, as we all know. Except mine that is, which has two Seymour Duncan pickups. So I'm interested in this for that reason. Frank.

tom1946
As said, it came with a fifties body I bought on here some time ago. I wasn't really interested in this loom so quite what it does I don't know. I remember asking John (KiOgon) about it but can't find his reply, I think he thought it was a strange one as it looked to him like 2 volumes and 2 tones? If that is the case it is a bit strange. the mystery deepens......
Byo
It is an early 50's P-bass control plate that seems to have been wired for 2 pups just like the early J-Bass with concentric pots (Vol + tone stacked for each pup.
