Information on Schick Basses?

Hi folks. About 10 years ago I bought a hand crafted bass off eBay, it was called a Schick zebra. It states that it was hand crafted in the Czech Republic. Recently I have been trying to find out more information about this bass and it's luthier, but I am coming up empty. Does anyone know anything about these basses? I will load some pics when I have figured out how to do it on basschat. Thanks

Schack are German. The son (Nico) is now the builder... and still immense basses.

try this........I did a Czech language search for you...They certainly did exist, based in Northern Moravia in Czech Republic producing in the early 2000's. They didn't get much out of Czech Republic and were a small boutique maker following the Tobias genre. They had good reviews but don;t seem to be around now. Moravia has a long history of producing fine luthiery and still does. The Furch Brand makes one of the finest acoustic bass guitars I have played.

Double checked the website.........www.schickguitars.com........long dead. They made basses called Tiger, Zebra and Rhino.
