Broken switch on EBS BassIQ

I have been using my EBS BassIQ with no problems but last night the switch went and I can't turn the effect off. Is this a common problem? Is it easily fixable (I have very few skills with electronics or soldering) or is it time for the bin?

Their main UK office is in Letchworth - great service from them - contact them on Monday, bet they repair it for free.
