bassintheface
Picked up a really smart support gig!! http://www.llangollenfringe.co.uk/index.php/en/festival-2017/wilko-johnson Supporting none other than Wilko Johnson on 19th July as part of the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod fringe festival. Norman on bass for Wilko too!! Needless to say, I'm seriously looking fwd to this one! Hopefully it'll be a sell out crowd of some 2500 in the pavillion arena!! Rumple
Congratulations, I do love Norman's playing, he's meant to be a very nice guy, enjoy the festival.
gjones
I have a friend who supported Wilko a few years ago. He said he came across as a pretty grumpy guy. But this was before his cancer scare and miracle recovery. I would assume that whole experience, has meant he probably has lightened up considerably since my friend met him. I listened to an interview with him, on R2 recently, and he sounded proper cheery.
Cat Burrito
We have supported him twice, once in Newbury back in 2009 at one of his own gigs and again at the Tartan Heart festival in Scotland last year. Nice guy, great band.
Happy Jack
Don't let Norman borrow your lead! He finishes every gig by unplugging and then dropping his lead into a large puddle of sweat ... Jealous? Me? Have a great gig.

Highfox
Fantastic have a great night. I was also lucky enough to support them on one of their giging trips to Finland. Was one of the best playing nights I ever had.

I saw Wilko with Norman a few years back, at Cambridge folk festival Both of them and their drummer were on top form... I really enjoyed the set Norman is still a superb player - I'd be thrilled if he had to borrow my rig Enjoy the gig, I'm sure you will

barneyg42
Band I was in were 3rd support to Wilko and then The Animals years ago at Dingwalls and NWR wouldn't let me use his rig, mine was pretty crap at the time and he had lovely Trace stack! Nevertheless he was a top bloke and we had a good chat afterwards, nice guy, brilliant player!! Enjoy!!
