Cut to fit a 35" scale Overwater 7 string, allowing at least 3 wraps around the tuner.

Used for about 2 hours.

I'm selling because I couldn't find a really good match for a high F string.

£30 posted.

re: matching high F - I guess none of their jazz guitar flats would be long enough? :(

GLWTS - top strings..

I found D'Addario chromes were long enough, they just sounded too different though.

If you want a high F the only one possible is the pyramid .020 nickel flatwound, it's perfect on a 34" scale, more tension but I use it with chromes or rounds and I lower the action to compensate in this case.

Thanks, tbh I've kind of given up on flats for it. I've spent I don't know how much experimenting on different strings for the high F. For normal round wounds there's no problem at all, lots of choice. There is a company in America that I've found will make me a set, but they're in the process of moving and have quite a backlog of orders already,

For info, got a really nice set of nickels for a Conklin GT-7 from Chris at Overwater... Very reasonably priced and quick delivery.

Ooh, thanks for the info.
