Last night I build my DOOM Array* in Reaper and really want to use it on a track but it's absolutely not suitable for that pic!

* You're asking what's that? check out Mick Gordon's video where he talks about the effects rig he set up to make the sounds for the DOOM 2016 soundtrack. http://gdcvault.com/play/1024068/-DOOM-Behind-the - he talks about the rig around 17 mins in but the entire thing is well worth watching if you're even remotely interested in sound design.

I have mine very nearly nailed now , it took a while to find a way in to it but I am just waiting for my summer cold to pass as my singing sounds a tad naff with a blocked nose, honest, my only reservation is a blocked nose

Yeah count me in! Be interested to hear about that

I haven't played any of the recent DOOM games but I was weaned on the original back in the '90s, which had a really great soundtrack (co-produced by Nine Inch Nails if I remember correctly... or was that Quake?).

Here's my entry. The idea that I got from the pic was that's the final move of the dance. The "Intro" of this track is meant to be the ending of the song they danced to & this is the sounds from that suspension, dipping into a completely different world.

Cool I'll chuck something together over the weekend.

It was Quake that featured NIN. They had a nine inch nailgun in the game that shot nine inch nails.

I suspect I won't have time yet again to produce even an irrelevant ditty (sorry Douglas!).
Spending all my spare muso time rehearsing with new funk rock band; they actually want to be tight, which is a new one on me!
Still, found time to do a bit last week with other band - the Badass Weeds - here's a rough-ish mix especially for the delectation and delight of Douglas, but it's too long for compo entry... Still, enjoy, or not!
