scrumpymike
That's neat! Great basses, great bassist
machinehead
Thanks I enjoyed that. My only complaint is that he doesn't tell us the settings - pickup selected and tone settings. These things make a big difference. Frank.
DarkHeart
I enjoyed that but unfortunately I find myself strangely drawn to the Ric.....think I`d better go lie down somewhere dark
Cuzzie
Like this a lot. For my ears Jazz wins Rick is not me Thunderbird needs a pick to come alive P and Ray are what P and Rays are All great basses though

Musicman20
They all sound great! That is how you compare basses! Nice to hear some high end after being used to flats for a while.
40hz
Weirdly enough I liked the Thunderbird best.

Bolo
Thunderbird surprised me most of all in a positive way, even though the headstock is mounted the wrong way round! Woulld love to hear a Spector and Ibanez soundgear added to this line-up.
Funky Dunky
I really like Guitarbank's bass comparison videos. Thy have one comparing different Jazzes, and another comparing Precisions - USA vs Japanese, old vs new etc and they do a really good job of highlighting tonal differences. Plus they typically have a nice wee jam going, and are kind enough to compare all settings, fingers, picked and slapped.
