von Braun Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 (edited) Just been clearing out my spare parts case and I think some of this stuff would be useful for for anybody with a Jazz Bass project in mind. Jazz Bass [s]1 x set (4) of Squier VM Jazz Bass tuners - mint condition, no slack, all ferrules and screws - £12.50 + postage [/s]SOLD. 1 x set (1 x Bridge - 94mm long, 7.85 kohm + 1 x Neck - 90mm long, 7.7 kohm) Squier VM pick-ups (designed by Seymour Duncan apparently) - these are better than anything I've heard on a MIM Fender bass.....alright I know that's not saying much but they aren't bad, decent mids and enough bite from the bridge pick-up to make it worth sticking them on a cheapo project bass - £20 + postage [s]1 x Squier VM BBOT bridge - fits Jazz or P-Bass - again seems sturdier than the MIM model, the value for money of the Squier VM models is well documented, so no surprise I guess - £8.00 + postage[/s] - SOLD 1 x MIM Fender BBOT bridge (no through body stringing holes) - fits Jazz or P-Bass - £8.00 + postage [s]1 x set of Fender shiny stuff for Jazz Bass (1 x F marked bridge ashtray, 1 x pick up cover and 1 x standard JB control plate) all chrome and in VGC. The attached photo is a bit pony but there are no dinks and only a few minor scratches on all three - £20.00 + postage - [/s]SOLD [s]1 x Fender genuine part white-black-white 3 ply JB pickguard - nicely aged to a sort of ivory - VGC as taken off when brand new and replaced - £10.00 + postage[/s] - SOLD [s]1 x Non Fender replacement part (very) red tortoiseshell 3 ply JB pickguard - looks good on anything sunburst or natural - £8.00 + postage[/s] - SOLD 1 x Non Fender replacement part blue pearloid 3 ply JB pickguard + thumbrest (not pictured) - fits Squier VM JB not too sure about Fenders, didn't try it but holes look slightly different placement - £8.00 + postage Non Jazz Bass 1 x set of well worn but very functional Epiphone 2+2 gold tuners, originally on an Epiphone Korina Flying V bass - all ferrules and screws (ideal for a "roadworn" project)- £5.00 + Postage [s]1 x set of heavy gauge black tape wound strings - I can't remember what make these are, D'Addario possibly, I was looking for a heavy dub sound at one point, tried these but they were too heavy for a Jazz, so took them off after two playings and bought a cheap five string instead . They are quite heavy, you could moor up warships with these things, but very well made and would be smooth as you like on the right bass. Look great too. - £10.00 + postage[/s]. - SOLD Cheers Ash Edited August 25, 2017 by von Braun
